Our Place
Perched on Marlborough’s dramatic coastal edge, Seaview Estate stands where wind, salt air, and the rhythm of the Pacific shape our vines. Steep slopes, free-draining loess soils and exposed aspects challenge each vine — and in doing so, reward us with fruit of purity, power, and elegance.
Seaview Vineyard
Shaped by the Coast, Guided by Care
Our viticulture team takes a considered approach, managing each block according to its individual characteristics — soil type, aspect, and vine age. We focus on precision and consistency, applying practical techniques that enhance fruit quality and ensure strong vineyard performance. Canopy and yield management, soil health, and sustainable practices are carefully balanced to respond to the conditions of each season and the demands of each new vintage.
Seaview Estate is committed to the highest standards of fruit quality and supply. Through proactive vineyard planning and disciplined management, we deliver consistency and confidence across every harvest — maintaining the integrity of each parcel while meeting the needs of our wines and our partners.
Winemaking
Our Winemaking Philosophy
At Seaview Estate, we believe the best wines speak clearly of their place. Our winemaking philosophy is grounded in respect for our incredible coastal site. Working with gentle hands, we take a minimal-intervention approach, making only small adjustments to preserve the natural chemistry and balance of our fruit.
The fruit grown at Seaview Estate has a distinct energy, shaped by our coastal climate and careful viticultural and winemaking practices. Each harvest delivers pristine, flavour-packed grapes with natural poise and texture — the foundation for wines of purity, structure, and seamless balance. A true reflection of the place we’re proud to call home.
By working sympathetically with the natural contours across our uniquely folded landscape to optimise aspect to the sun, the rugged pastoral land was crafted into a sustainable vineyard known today as Seaview.
